This has been my approach to audiobook narration whether I’m narrating a cozy mystery, literary fiction, YA fantasy, non-fiction, historical fiction, memoir or short stories. Whew! Since #audieawards2026 it’s felt like my suitcase stayed packed and ready to roll. VOAtlanta, Audible Narrator Hall of Fame, LA Times Festival of Books, caught up with high school pals in Laguna Beach and Burbank, then flew past home to NYC for museums, dining, theater with my hubsqueeze, wrapped it all up at Black Writers Weekend in Newark and an overnight with friends in Jersey. Taking it easy this week because May is a studio marathon!
I am so grateful for time with friends in special places, and equally grateful to be home again. Garden season has begun!
