I’m so proud of your fight, your will to never show weakness, and your faith you held on all the way until you were called home. My heart is heavy and the tears won’t stop flowing, but your words before you left gave me comfort and peace, knowing you’re in a much better place. Ritishea and I held your hands as you sat up in the hospital bed crying out, “I’m not going any place bad” over and over. I knew God had spoke to you, telling you it’s time. I knew soon you would be at peace and rest comfortably in the arms of our Heavenly Father. There’s so many words I could write, just as the many you’ve have touched (pause) throughout your amazing life. I’ll never forget your words of wisdom, our jokes, the personal conversations we had about life, and I promise not to let you down. You’ve graduated from a man who used his platform to push a culture forward, to now an angel in Heaven, looking over those you loved and cared for immensely.
