“When you’re a young professional, you’re getting a lot of feedback, but oftentimes you can be overwhelmed…so you have to feel things out between what’s signal and what’s noise.” Tongtong Wang, SVP and Global Head, Pharmaceuticals Technical Research & Development at @Genentech , offered powerful insight for early-career professionals at #PBWC2025: not all feedback is created equal. Learning to trust your instincts is just as important as listening well. Discernment is a skill—and a superpower. #WeWill #CareerGrowth #WomenInTech #ProfessionalDevelopment #EarlyCareer #SignalNotNoise #PBWC

Join us in congratulating @AnnaHe.24 , a 2025 #PBWC Book Scholarship recipient! 🎓 A rising changemaker at the intersection of business and equity, Anna’s passion for finance began with reading investment books in traditional Chinese and grew into a commitment to bridging opportunity gaps across language and income barriers. She developed financial literacy curricula for Early English Learners and worked with Envisioneers, a nonprofit connecting thousands of underrepresented students to STEM mentors. This fall, Anna will attend UC Berkeley, where she’ll study Economics and Statistics with a vision to build a career in impact-driven finance—scaling ventures in education and technology to create more inclusive economic systems. Want to make an impact when presenting to senior leaders? Get to the point fast. ⚡️ #PBWC2025 Breakout Session Speaker and Executive Communication, Presence & Presentations Skills Coach Melissa Schwartz of @impact3sixty shared a truth we all need to hear: “We have to get out of our heads and into the heads of our stakeholders. What we care about isn’t always what senior leaders care about. In addition, we need to front load our content so we get to the point quickly and clearly." When it comes to executive communication, lead with why (the goal) and what (the ask)—then fill in the rest if needed. #PBWC #WeWill #MelissaSchwartz #LeadershipTips #ExecutivePresence #WomenInLeadership #CommunicationSkills #CareerAdvice
