CULTURE NIGHT DUBLIN 2025!‼️‼️
What can I say? It was truly an honour to be an AMBASSADOR for culture night dublin 2025 and getting to perform and share abit of my culture and artistry with dublin. Really just getting to dance, share and explore with people was a blessing. True talk when i started this performance we had about 5 people in the audience to well over a 100 by the time i was done which proves that people do wanna see a performance filled with various mixture of cultures. Thank you to soo many people who made this happen from Melissa to the whole team at @cultureheadpr and @culturenightdub for this

I had this idea of merging two cultures, as i truly love the melody that nigerian music and the specifically the irish traditional music gives, ever so connecting, telling a story and truly breath taking a d then i called my two good friends who brought this to life honestly, two amazing dope artists: @drmuzik56 and @ayan.m.b .
Being inspired by the gaelic traditional sounds from “dhulaman” to many others more, we both share a lot in common with our cultures and from story telling to our instruments to melody.

Swipe across to see how it went and can’t wait for what the future holds 🔥🔥🔥

Of course couldn’t add all things here but these are just some of the things that ground me and keep me sane. Let’s see how the year progresses!
JAIVA AfroDance Festival is back and this year we are really looking forward to developing our connection with ourselves, our roots and truly having a full cultural experience!
.
This year’s educational framework is built around: FOUNDATIONS – Cultural grounding & origins, FREESTYLE – Individual expression, CHOREOGRAPHY – Collective storytelling
.
We’re bringing dancers together across styles, levels, and cultures reconnecting to our roots through community foundations, freestyle cyphers, and a complete African experience. From Naija to Ndombolo, Afrohouse to Amapiano, for the first time Coupe Decale to Bikutsi, this is where culture meets movement.
Expect workshops, battles, music, food, and energy like no other. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, this space is for you.
Venue : Project Arts Centre, Dublin @projectartscentre
Date: 7th-9th August 2026
