As has become a beautiful tradition at the NAASC Annual Meeting, we will continue to remember and memorialize our deceased alumnae. We invite you to submit the name, class year, and month of death of any alumna who has transitioned between May 2025 to April 2026. The alumna does NOT need to have been a member of the NAASC. Information should be submitted to NAASC Courtesy Chair, Andrea Lewis at [email protected]. The requested information is due Wednesday, May 13, 2026. Thank you for helping us remember the impact of Spelman women who changed their world. 💙💐🙏🏾 #ForeverBind #InMemoriam #LifesRaceIsWon

Today, we honor the mothers, grandmothers, aunties, godmothers, mentors, and mother figures whose love, wisdom, strength, and sacrifice help shape lives every day. 💐 We also hold space for those who are missing their mothers, grieving the loss of a child, navigating complicated relationships, longing to become mothers, or quietly carrying the weight of motherhood journeys unseen by others. May today bring love, comfort, gratitude, and peace in whatever way it is needed the most. Happy Mother’s Day to all who nurture, uplift, and care for others with a mother’s heart. 💙💙💙
