14 May 2026 — Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim Sikh Abdul Majid, CEO of Malaysian Investment Development Authority, delivered the welcoming remarks at the Roundtable Discussion (RTD) with the Business Chambers of Commerce organised by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission under the initiative of the Special Task Force on the Corruption Perception Index (CPI).
Held at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral, the session brought together business chambers, industry representatives and government agencies to discuss governance reform initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional integrity, transparency and the ease of doing business in Malaysia.
IGEM and KLSS 2026 were officiated by YB Dato’ Sri Arthur Joseph Kurup last Tuesday, with opening remarks from YBhg. Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim Sikh Abdul Majid, CEO of MIDA.
The launch united two platforms advancing Malaysia’s sustainability agenda. IGEM drives green innovation and market adoption, while KLSS fosters policy dialogue, regional collaboration, and collective action. Together, they bridge ideas and implementation to support our low-carbon future.
