It’s important to take note of your waiting season as it holdings something special for everyone - A refinement of character - Redirection of life’s path - A call to proactivity - A shift in mindset - A relocation - Reconcilation and improvemnets - Career switch - Whatever most works Waiting itself isn’t the issue… wasting the waiting is. Many people find themselves in these kinds of seasons, but come out of it the same way they entered. Same mindset, Same habits, Same level of confusion. This happens because they didn’t take anything away from the experience; And that’s the real price to pay. It’s not about the time you spent waiting; it’s about what you missed out on. The real question is… will you walk away with it, or leave it behind? That’s the core of what The Wait Work is all about, STAY LOCKED IN! Waste not your wait, grab a copy of The Wait Work book via my website #OyekaAmara #TheWaitWork #CareerDevelopment #PersonalDevelopment

Sometimes the hardest thing is looking around and feeling like everyone else knows where their life is going, except you. Waiting seasons don’t always seem dramatic. Sometimes they look like feeling stuck, uncertain, in-between, or trying to stay hopeful when nothing seems clear. That’s why I believe so many people relate to this message. Almost everyone has experienced a season that didn’t make sense while they were in it. The Wait Work was written for those moments. It’s for the person trying to move forward while quietly holding questions they can’t easily explain. Have you pre-ordered your copy yet? Link in bio. Which slide felt the most relatable to you? #TheWaitWork #OyekaAmara #WaitingSeason #MindsetShift #LifeTransitions

L I’ve realised that when you can attach meaning to a tough season , you tend to handle it differently. Not perfectly, but in a different way. The issue is that many waiting seasons don’t come with clear explanations. Instead of feeling like you have a purpose, you start to take things personally. You begin to internalize the delay, question yourself more, and overanalyze everything. Eventually, the emotional burden of “not knowing” becomes harder to bear than the waiting itself. I have been reflecting a lot on that shift in perspective lately. Maybe what is needed during difficult times isn’t just support but understanding. Have you ever gone through a season that became tougher simply because you couldn’t make sense of it? #TheWaitWork #OyekaAmara #WaitingSeason #PersonalGrowth #MindsetShift

Some messages matter because of how many people quietly relate to them. This is one of those messages. So many people are trying their best. They show up, put in effort, and do what they know how to do, yet they still feel stuck, delayed, or unsure about what’s happening. I know that feeling personally. That’s why this message matters to me. Sometimes, what people need most is not pressure but perspective. It’s the reminder that waiting is not always wasted. Slow seasons can still have meaning. Growth can still happen, even when life doesn’t look the way you expected it to. That’s the heart behind The Wait Work. What part of this conversation has connected with you the most so far? #TheWaitWork #OyekaAmara #WaitingSeason #PersonalGrowth #MindsetShift

Every time I read the reflections from early readers, I’m reminded that this message is reaching people in a very personal way. Many of them keep coming back to this idea: Waiting is not passive. It’s not empty and it’s not meaningless. It’s a season that can shape you, stretch you, and prepare you in ways you may not fully understand at first. That’s what The Wait Work is really about. It’s not about pretending waiting is easy. It’s about helping people see that even difficult seasons can still bring growth, clarity, and purpose. I’m genuinely grateful for every person who has taken the time to read and share their thoughts so far. Have you pre-ordered your copy yet? I used to think that every delay was my fault. I felt like I needed to fix something, do more, or be more prepared. But I’m beginning to understand that not everything is under my control. Some things take time because they involve other people, timing, and the right conditions. When those pieces aren’t all in place, it can feel personal, even when it’s not. I’m learning to allow for that. I’m starting to trust that not everything I can’t see is truly missing, some of it might just be coming together. Have you ever realised later that something needed time to come together before it worked out? #TheWaitWork #OyekaAmara #WaitingSeason #PersonalGrowth #LifeTransitions

There’s this kind of hesitation that creeps in when you feel like you’re not quite “there” yet. It’s like you need to be more before you can actually do more. I’ve been there myself. But lately, I’ve started to question that mindset. Sometimes, that feeling doesn’t just vanish before the moment arrives; it actually shows up right alongside it. And if you keep waiting for it to disappear completely, you might find yourself stuck longer than necessary. I’m learning that being ready doesn’t always come first. Often, it finds you in the process. So, what’s something you’ve been holding back on because you don’t feel ready yet? #TheWaitWork #OyekaAmara #GrowthProcess #WaitingSeason #PersonalGrowth MindsetShift
