What’s Your Creative Process?
Somehow, I forgot that I have “my” vocal riffs.
As in, when I sing songs, I have MY way of singing it.
Adding in my own riffs and notes in places as this was just what my house sounded like with the plethora of artists my mother would blast from her room. Hearing the melody of the song but always finding my own inflections.
While recording my own record recently, i hesitated in doing a run on a line, that sounded like exactly as it should have been but I thought “it wasn’t hard enough or sounded typical of me” not realizing it sounded typical to me because it’s a riff or run that is in MY vocal vocabulary.
I say all this to say, BE YOU, DOUBLE DOWN ON YOU, Because that’s what makes YOU different.

Went to see the #Michael and… 🥹🥹
1. I’m Happy The World Gets To See What We The Fans Have ALWAYS SEEN & KNOWN ABOUT HIM.
2. Im all the way in my feels. Like I could have sat In The theatre for 8 hours straight to see it all.
3. They did a great job of showcasing Michael, The Man but why they do Joe Like that? “American Dream” has a more well rounded story with ALL the players intact.
4. There were moments I felt they could have dived deeper into, and for the one they did (In The Hospital Room), I appreciated seeing some of those moments played out showing where his mind and heart were after the accident
