This in-person training — a gathering of leaders, thinkers, storytellers, and movement builders from across the continent promises to be phenomenal!
We’re coming together to learn, resist, imagine, and build power for climate justice — connecting with grassroots defenders, visionary scholars, and changemakers whose voices will shape Africa’s climate agenda ahead of the Africa Climate Summit and the Fifth Africa Climate Assembly.
This isn’t just training, it’s a transformative journey to strengthen our collective voice for a just, equitable, and ecologically rooted future for Africa.

A few weeks ago, I had the honour of hosting South Africa Week in Lagos; a space built on exactly what Africa needs more of: dialogue, solidarity, and shared vision across borders.
Today, as we witness the painful resurgence of xenophobic violence on our continent, that experience means even more to me.
We cannot build a united Africa while attacking the Africans standing beside us. The same continent we celebrate in boardrooms and summits must be protected in our streets and communities.
Pan-Africanism is not a hashtag. It is a daily, deliberate choice.

April has been quieter on this grid but never in the room.
The first quarter of 2026 didn’t ask permission. It demanded everything; convenings, conversations, policy rooms, continental strategy, and showing up fully for the work that this moment in climate and development history requires. Q1 closed with momentum, and April picked up right where it left off.
The work has been relentless, intentional, and deeply rooted in one conviction: Africa’s voice must shape Africa’s solutions.
