FRMD004: Landsraad - The Ambiguity Of Truth
As with the first Landsraad MD release last year (FRMD001), these are pro-MiniDiscs with UV-printed surfaces and multipanel foldout j-cards in clear MiniDisc jewelcases. They will be offered individually and as a bundle option with a slightly favorable price and a die-cut propaganda sticker included.
Releasing together with the five tapes with Winter Sphere (Ghoëst), Erang, Valen, Landsraad and Arcana Liturgia (FRMC024-28) as well as a substantial distro update with numerous LPs, tapes, zines, CDs and an NES cartridge from:

These two most recent releases are the ultimate examples of the deep melodic Berlin school electronics, that this Danish solo project has become known for. Firmly placed right on the threshold between hypnotic dungeon synth and dark kosmische musik, an introspective expression is explored and purified with considerable talent and originality.
Stilhedens Tårn from 2020 is the most recent full-length of the project, and features K. Larsen (Of the Wand & the Moon) and Angst (part of Den Sorte Død) on synths. Jordens Åbne Sår is a mini-album made for the 2021 Roadburn Redux, which is now being released on a physical format for the first time. These two new tapes follow Bag De Hvide Tinder (FRMC019) and Mørkt Forår (FRMC020) released in January.

In the midst of the canceled tour we were still able to pull through our Danish show, being able to do a somewhat release party for ‘Scandinavian Pain’. With the aid of good friends and legendary black metal musicians @afskyofficial this became possible. Thank you so much for jumping on this so fast, it shows support and dedication to the scene! @offermose is also still on, which makes this even more amazing. See you!

“Lydbilledet er konsekvent skævt og tungt nok til aldrig at forfalde til rent new age lydtapet. Percussion anvendes yderst sparsomt, men derfor også desto mere effektfuldt, som små opmærksomhedsskærpende anslag mellem nye variationer af syntheseizer-motiver. Det handler aldrig om destinationen, men kun om den interstellare rejse. Men lader man sig fortabe i det atmosfæriske univers, som Den Sorte Død svæver i, glemmer man fuldstændig at spekulere på, om der nogensinde kommer en kulmination. Det er en form, der virker for bandet.”
@khaffgaard har anmeldt det nye album af Den Sorte Død, hvis musikalske udtryk vækker associationer til både kosmische musik, black metal og dungeon synth.
