we are doing a blind box “raffle” to celebrate our birthday! we teamed up with @saunafrog to create offbeat blind boxes. we have 50 of these and will be choosing 25 winners each day.
if you come to offbeat this weekend, we will hand you a slip of paper to put your name and instagram handle on it. you will then be entered into the raffle. we will be randomly choosing winners the following week and contacting you through instagram!

the little offbeat snail is officially turning 1 today! a year ago, we opened the doors to this space with hopes of creating something that was more than a coffee + tea shop. our hope was to create a welcoming environment that allowed people to connect, relax, create, and to feel a sense of community.
from pop ups to eventually opening a brick and mortar, we want to thank everyone that keeps showing up for us. we appreciate every single one of you. you all have helped us fill this space with warmth and kindness.
to our amazing team, thank you for being as excited about this space and what offbeat is as much as we are. we are beyond grateful to be working alongside all of you.

wow what a couple of months it has been. thank you all so much for your continued support and being EXTREMELY patient with us as we navigate being a new business.
we just wanted to do a quick appreciation post to say thank you for showing up. it really does mean a lot to us. and a big THANK YOU to our team as well for keeping that positive energy going and just being really amazing people 🫶🏻.
we will keep on bringing new, fun, and offbeat ideas if y’all keep sticking with us! 🐌
twice in a month is definitely something. not sure what else to say except that things like this really bums us out.
but per usual, we will persist and move onwards 😅. we’re all safe and our shop is still *mostly* intact. (our gifted mystery painting is still here 😌)
we are going to try our best to get this window patched up so that we can resume per usual on wednesday! we really do appreciate everyone that comes out to support us and that’s honestly what keeps us moving forward.

‘twas a rough night for the shop 🥲. minimal theft and somewhat minimal damage was done. on a brighter note, the labubus are safe and sound…and our temporary door is kind of cute.
we are working on getting the door fixed and/or replaced and the mess cleaned up by today. we should be able to operate at our normal hours by tomorrow!! 🫡

@thepastrycat916 will continue to pop up with us on saturdays (9am - 12pm).
@tynedesignco is helping us out and building some amazing tables for some more seating!

2024.
a lot of small and big challenges this year, and a lot of lessons were learned. we are grateful for every second of it, good and bad.
offbeat is just about ready to open our doors to the sacramento community. we have some last kinks to work out so that we can be as ready as we can be when the time comes. we’d like to say thank you to everyone that has supported us, offbeat wouldn’t be where we’re at if it wasn’t for you all🫶🏻
with that all being said, pop up saturdays w/@thepastrycat916 lives on!! and will be here at offbeat. we’re eternally grateful for @majkabakes for hosting us this past year.

updates!!!
things are moving along and the space is starting to look a little more like a coffee shop! big thanks to thomas (@tynedesignco ) for bringing our dream of a “communal” bench to life. some other notable things include our modbar being put in, bar counter being finished for the most part, ANNNDDD bringing in our first plant to the shop (Orm the fiddle leaf 🌱). our hope is to be able to open our doors by the end of the year.

a lil appreciation post for the last couple months of pop ups. earlier this year, we started looking up videos and articles on how to build carts with the purpose of just getting out there and meeting new people. we wanted to say thank you to everyone that has made this journey so fun. a HUGE thank you to @thepastrycat916 and @majkabakes for making all of this possible for us.
