💥CHICAGO HOUSE MUSIC 💥
Glenn Underground is the founding member of the Strictly Jaz Unit. He was raised on disco classics and freeform jazz in Chicago’s Southside, the place where house music was born. Taking inspiration from Chicago’s original pioneers, Larry Heard, Ron Hardy, Lil’ Louis, and the like, Glenn has produced some of the most well respected deep house music of the past few decades in dance music. His releases for Cajual, Prescription Guidance and Peacefrog have set the standard for sophisticated dance music. He is one of the few DJ’s who can walk the line between deep jazz house, disco influenced house, and the kind of classics featured at the legendary parties of late 70’s Chicago.

“When it comes to eclecticism, few electronic musicians can replicate the sheer ingenuity that American producer David Pezzner invokes within his mosaic compositions.” – The Electronic Beat
Pezzner entered the spotlight in 2008 with his initial offerings signed to the well respected London-based deep house label Freerange. His first release “Other Lover” gathered mass attention from the house music community after appearing on Laurent Garnier’s Resident Advisor Podcast (RA. 107) and John Digweed’s Transitions Radio show. Since then he’s spun off some 15 singles, countless remixes and 3 LPs with Dirtybird, Get Physical, Crosstown Rebels, Visionquest, Strictly Rhythm and many more.
In 2015 Pezzner founded the boutique imprint Hunt & Gather, with a focus on leftfield percussive rhythms and dance floor rarities. His “Native Language” project was listed in Dixon’s Resident Advisor 500 year-end chart as one of the five most inspirational tracks of 2015.
