I’ve been wanting to visit Sedona for years and got a chance to get in a hike on my way back from Flagstaff to the Phoenix airport. Cathedral Rock was a short but challenging hike with some slick rock scrambles up the mountain to some amazing views. 10/10!
Making some progress on the 4Runner 4 link project. Got the brackets cut off the diamond axle and the frame. Next up, lots of grinding to clean it all up.

Making progress on the rebuild. Got the rear suspension and axle stripped out. Need to cut out the panhard bar crossmember, rear link mounts, and coil buckets from the frame. Cut the suspension mounts off the rear axle and then I can start planning out the 4 link mounts to the frame and axle. Need to cut out some of the rear cargo floor too so that the fuel cell can sit up a bit higher. 12” @kingshocks coilovers are on order and I just received the 14” triple bypasses 🤩 Figuring out the upper mounts for these is going to be interesting, will likely need to cut into the cab a bit. #oeo #4runner #builtnotbought #toyota
Making some progress on Snowflake 3.0 - got the @tmrcustoms fuel cell cradle welded up and used @sendcutsend to make an aluminum skid plate for it that I designed.
I’ll be using the stock fuel sending unit assembly, but with a @underdog_racing_development fuel pump upgrade kit to feed the 600cc injectors from @deatschwerks to keep the thirsty @magnusonsuperchargers supercharger happy.
3D scanned the back end with the @einstar3d Rockit scanner and I’m planning out placement of the Jaz fuel cell and the custom rear bumper I’ll be fabbing up.
I’ve been planning out the rear suspension changes and I’m going to order a triangulated 4 link kit from TMR as well.
New transmission showed up last week - 15k miles on it, and new engine arrived as well with only 25k miles. Still hunting for a good transfer case as well.

I designed and custom made some outboard hydraulic bump stop mounts and strike pads for my @dobinsonsusa hydro bumps that were previously in my rear springs. Now they're much easier to adjust and check the pressure. Looking forward to putting them to the test soon!

I think we managed to do a whole 2 week trip without actually cooking anything 😂 A big part of that was thanks to @peakrefuel meals. Really good sized portions, taste great, and super easy to make. I put the @jetboil sumo to work that trip. Mmmm biscuits and gravy.

Imogene Pass is one of my favorite trails in the San Juan mountains. Just the right amount of butt pucker, slightly challenging, and incredible views.
