Charlotte Rampling at 80 for the April issue, photographed by @markrkean , styled by @robbiespencer and interviewed over a fish lunch in Paris by @gileshattersley . The very definition of chic.
Heaven! Noah Jupe and Sadie Sink carb loading in the most glamorous way ahead of Robert Icke’s “Sliding Doors” take on Romeo and Juliet, for the March issue. By @pollyholiday and @jessica_gerardi , interviewed by @riannphillip ❤️❤️❤️
Gisèle Pelicot is an extraordinary woman in endless ways, none more so than in her capacity to look at the world and still find joy and love in it. Last December, @gabywoodbooks and I travelled to Paris to meet her for this exclusive British Vogue story and digital cover. I don’t think any of us there that day knew quite how emotional it would be.
Gisèle’s story was so unimaginable that we presumed it must be unique - that, surely, this couldn’t have happened to anyone else. And then, two weeks after meeting her, it was reported that a former Tory councillor had been arrested for drugging and raping his wife over a 13-year period, with other men. Appallingly, Gisèle is not a one off: her story, case and book must be read. Thank you to Gaby for the brilliant piece, handled with such care and precision; to @bethankjones and @susanna__lea and, most of all, to Gisèle.
The Voice of Hind Rajab, directed by the incredible Kaouther Ben Hania and just nominated for a Golden Globe, is this year’s most urgent film. It is also the hardest you will watch. But as Ben Hania told me for the January issue, ahead of the film’s release in the UK next month, just remember: “It’s not your life. You have a comfortable life. We all have a comfortable life. But it’s important to know what is happening on the planet we are living on. If you can’t, it’s too difficult, do something about it.” Go see it.
Autumn, two ways: one weekend at the glorious @fowlescombe in Devon for fresh air, fires and very good food and the following at the beautiful @grandhotelsonnet in Mallorca for… more of the same, but in a T shirt 🌞
Lily is back! Seven years after her last album, the next one is imminent. And it is fucking G R E A T. And completely heartbreaking. Thank you Lily for trusting us with this story. In the November issue and online now.
The moment @sukiwaterhouse told me she listens to Joan and Jericha on loudspeaker in Ubers (IYKYK), I knew this one was going to be a fun interview… for the August issue of @britishvogue we spoke about her brilliant upcoming album, the meet cutes to end all meet cutes, the total insanity of giving birth (and breastfeeding), being a “little bitch” of a teenager, the hell of heartbreak and just about everything in between. Online now, on stands 18th July 💛 @sarrjamois@colin_dodgson
