Thrilled to have joined up with the HAMILTON (Philip) Tour for its final two months. We just finished two weeks in beautiful Spokane and start up in Costa Mesa in Wednesday. Such a joy to play this show again with this great band.
What a joy to play on the Moulin Rouge tour for the last 6 weeks across three cities and states (Grand Rapids, MI; Lincoln, NE; Louisville, KY) with these fantastic musicians and humans!
Wacky delay day at O’Hare in which I counted at least 5 other violinists, and then I run into retired Marine violinist Pete Wilson and catch up after last seeing him 33 years ago at Northwestern. What? #violin #weatherdelay … and yet another fiddler ran past while I wrote this. Is there something I don’t know?
We had an absolutely fantastic 2-1/2 weeks in Colorado, but the whole time I was playing on my second fiddle. It’s so nice to have my “real” violin (and bow) back in my hands and under my ear again. Really missed it.
