BMW Motorrad just showed up to the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este with a one-off concept bike, and it is called the Vision K18. The whole thing is built around a 1,800 cc inline six-cylinder engine, and every design decision flows from that. Six intakes, six tailpipes, six LED headlights. Even the silhouette borrows from aircraft like the Concorde to push that sense of speed before it even moves.
-- Under the bodywork, there is hand-formed aluminium, forged carbon, and flame-sprayed surface textures that reference classic F1 exhaust headers. BMW swapped the airbox and fuel tank positions to flatten out the rear line, and air feeds into the engine through six individual tubes at the front. The suspension is hydraulically lowerable too. A lot going on for something that will never see a showroom floor.
-- There is no production plan announced yet, so this stays firmly in concept territory for now. That said, BMW Motorrad is clearly using it to show where the six-cylinder range could go in terms of design ambition and performance character. Worth keeping an eye on.

Bentley Motors just dropped something a little different, the Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition, built in partnership with Mulliner and social media personality The Gstaad Guy (GG). The collaboration marks the first time GG has worked with a car brand to create a dedicated limited-edition model, and it's designed specifically around the idea of Alpine luxury, think chalet vibes, but on four wheels.
-- On the inside, you're looking at four comfort seats wrapped in rich Saddle leather, tweed detailing, diamond-quilted surfaces, Liquid Amber open-pore wood veneers, and Fireglow accents throughout. There's also a full Naim for Bentley audio system, GG's personal Alpine Flower motif embroidered on the headrests, laser-etched badging, and personalised animated welcome lamps. The exterior is finished in a hand-sprayed Light Tudor Grey, a process that takes around 60 hours to complete.
-- The Bentayga EWB Chalet Edition is available exclusively through Bentley Mulliner, meaning this one's strictly bespoke and made to order. No mass production, no wide rollout, just one of the more niche collabs to come out of the luxury auto world this year. Whether this signals more creator-brand builds from Bentley going forward is the real question.

Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have hiked petrol and diesel prices by Rs 3 per litre across India, effective immediately from Friday, May 15. CNG rates have also been revised upward, with Delhi CNG now priced at Rs 79.09 per kg. The hike comes amid the ongoing West Asia conflict, which has pushed Brent crude oil prices significantly higher.
Post-revision, petrol now stands at Rs 97.77 per litre in Delhi, Rs 108.74 in Kolkata, Rs 106.68 in Mumbai, and Rs 103.67 in Chennai. Diesel is priced at Rs 90.67 in Delhi, Rs 95.13 in Kolkata, Rs 93.14 in Mumbai, and Rs 95.25 in Chennai. The hike varies slightly across cities due to local taxes and freight charges.

French motorcycle engine oil brand IPONE has officially entered the Indian market, introduced by Motul India. Inspired by Japanese culture and aesthetics, IPONE positions itself as a 100% motorcycle-focused engine oil brand targeting younger riders who look for performance and identity in the products they use, not just a can of oil on a shelf.
-- The range is built around four tiers modelled on the judo belt system: Yellow (Standard), Green (Advanced), Blue (Sport), and Black (Racing). The flagship Racing line, called Shogun, uses PAO and Ester-based synthetic engine oil technology and is already a partner of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. IPONE will roll out across 6 core markets and 14 key markets initially, supported by Motul India's existing offline and online distribution network.
With premium and synthetic engine oils already making up 25% of Motul India's sales, this launch is a clear move toward the growing segment of adventure, off-road, and performance-focused riders in India

Jaguar has confirmed the name of its upcoming luxury four-door electric GT as the Jaguar Type 01. The new naming structure marks a shift for the brand, with “Type” referencing past Jaguar models like the E-Type and F-TYPE, while “0” stands for zero tailpipe emissions and “1” identifies it as the first model in Jaguar’s next-generation lineup.
-- The Type 01 will use a new body architecture and a tri-motor electric setup producing over 1,000PS and more than 1,300Nm of torque. Jaguar says the car has been engineered to deliver a distinct driving character alongside a new design language. Prototype versions wrapped in camouflage will appear during the Monaco E-Prix weekend ahead of the car’s official reveal later this year.

Kia India has rolled out a new Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) finance program for the Carens Clavis EV. The idea here is simple — instead of paying for the car and battery together, buyers can now finance them separately. This helps reduce the upfront cost of buying an EV and gives customers more flexibility with repayments
With this new plan, the Kia Carens Clavis EV can be bought with finance options starting from ₹51,520, while the battery usage cost starts at ₹3.3 per kilometre. Kia says the chassis loan can go up to 60 months, while the battery loan tenure extends up to 96 months.
