@farmdroid produces autonomous field robots for the agricultural industry – in fact, they developed the world’s first seeding and weeding robot! 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝’𝐬 𝐧𝐨. 1 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭: Founded in 2018 by Jens Warming and his brother Kristian Warming, the successful agricultural FarmDroid robot has taken over many of the fields in Denmark and Europe. The robot runs on solar energy, is self-driving and can both sow different crops and mechanically remove weeds, helping farmers and crop growers reduce costs for crop-planting and maintenance – in a CO2-neutral and organic way. 🦾 The company is located in Vejen, where Odense Robotics recently met up with CEO René Jorgensen. International Drone Show 2023 is now over - and what a day it was! 🚀 ✔ 27 exhibitors ✔ 400+ attendees ✔ 2-track conference with 40 speakers ✔ 5 live demo flights ✔ 3 workshops ✔ 3 panel discussions ✔ Visit from the Mayor of Odense Kommune Peter Rahbæk Juel ✔ Networking galore! Yesterday, UAS Denmark International Test Center and Odense Robotics once again hosted the IDS at @hca_airport in Odense, where drone industry professionals from Denmark, Germany, Israel, Spain, Holland, U.S.A, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Great Britain etc had ample time to network. Industry experts from across the world shared the latest drone insights within legislation and cooperation, security and defence, 5G, cyber security, and research, while innovative companies showcased their drone solutions. 🛫 The Mayor of Odense Peter Rahbæk Juel also took part in the drone show and was accompanied by the CEO of Odense Robotics, Søren Elmer Kristensen when they toured the exhibition and met with the exhibitors.
