I introduced Mila to three new sports this arvo… (never really done any of them)… “I wanna do an acid drop” is what she says in the first frame… this her first attempt. First time kicking a soccer ball with her too… 🤯 then she crushed me at bocce. Proud dad moment.

Well.. I wasn’t able to go to Botswana but I made the most of my weekend with the family because I am heading off to San Diego tomorrow . We hiked from our house to Sant Joan had an epic lunch (the prawn are Milas favorite and she eats them alllll) at @bistromondo and then hiked back home . Evie got the riding bug (yay!) and then roasted chicken/veg at home.. wondering if tonight was my last breastfeed? I feel like I am done .. was a little sad but also time to move on.. we praciticed all weekend by only feeding on one particular chair - she didn’t love it but accepted it. And we had a really long chat about it. Let’s see …

Epic adventure today! Wow I am so in love with the Dolomites !! We did an e-bike tour .. but it didn’t come without it hurdles .. we had to go up and up and up and even with an e-bike it wasn’t an easy tour . There was a point where Luca gave up and oh the wailing ! We didn’t know what to do - every help we offered wasn’t good enough (taxi? Stash bike? Return?) Until I said to her “you know I am so proud of you and what you have achieved , it’s not an easy journey. We can just turn back and we still had an amazing adventure “- “no , she said , “I didn’t come this far to give up let’s do it “ and she got back on the bike- wailing but on the bike - and we made it up top and ohhhhhh was she proud of herself ❤️ and I was even prouder ❤️❤️❤️
