Thank you, for everything.
Oddly will be closing January 27th for good. We want to thank everyone for the past almost two years. We have seen a LOT. Proposals, baby showers, millions of first dates, breakups, hookups, arm wrestling, ex’s, more hooking up, dancing, singing, speed dating, friends, family, eating, drinking, lots. We have seen the full spectrum of holding space for a community that doesn’t have a lot of space to be held. We have seen what happens when people who don’t always get to feel seen or held or allowed to take up space, do. The good and the bad. We have seen so much laughter. Like a lot. Lots of hugs, hello and goodbye.
Please, come celebrate all of it with us these last few weeks as we hold some of our most favorite events like dance parties, bingo, life drawing, steak dinners, karaoke and more.
Again, we can’t thank you all enough. For every single moment of it. What a time, what a life.

For the first time ever, proceeds will support Queer Soup Night HQ. Our all-volunteer network of 12 chapters across the country has been operating on a shoestring budget since QSN launched in January, 2017 (seven years ago!). We’re currently in need of funds to support our most basic needs (website domain, software subscriptions, storage and a few other things we’d be very happy to tell you all about!). Thank you for supporting our work so we can keep throwing parties and raising funds for community orgs!

Donna of @bigdstamps will be stamping from 5-9pm, customizing clothes using a variety of Oddly Enough imagery. Bring anything to get stamped - shirts, pants, bags, suspenders, capes. Or come early to browse a selection of secondhand garments available for purchase. $10 BYO garment or $20 - $30 to buy one from our rack!
July 18th @nansekawashima will be offering a personalized 10min ($18) tarot reading session specifically for the theme of Venus in Leo retrograde. Leo will be in Venus for a while until the Fall, so let’s see what kind of insight and tools we can get to navigate this time. Feel free to bring your natal chart, but that’s totally optional. Nanse Kawashima is a Japanese artist and founder of @SibyllineVein She has been practicing and reading Tarot since 2011. Her approach to tarot reading is a combination of wisdom derived from tarot archetypes and intuitive insight which are made applicable for our modern day lives. Western Astrology, Reiki and Ayurveda are among other modalities that she continues her studies in and often infuses into her practice. Many of the women in her maternal lineage have shared the gift of intuition; she is happy to share this with her generation and growing community. She uses “The New Tarot Deck” a rare black and white deck by Horler and Hurley from 1974.
