Model drawings based on Raptor's killer design work by @treenaldi . I love this character. @thezombiedogz really made sure we kept that broken visor, which was the right call. One of my contributions was the way his cape tails are drawn. We wanted him to feel very aggressive, so I thought about his capes the way Gore Magala's wings flare upward when enraged in Monster Hunter, and I wanted those shapes to feel threatening and interesting.

The Dagby Files features lots of side characters. Here are some of my favorites. I tried to let myself be a little loose and relaxed while designing and drawing these characters and avoid overthinking. And as always, the intent is to design them as if they're meant for animation. I want people to imagine them coming to life.
