Congratulations to Competitive Pom on receiving the highest number of donors by the end of Giving Day, earning a $2,500 bonus for their team. #TrueBlueOCU
Up next for Senior recognition we have Makayla also known as Malala. Here’s what she has to say about her time here.
Being on the OCU Competitive Dance Team taught me so much and was such a huge part of my college experience! It gave me some of my very best friends in college and allowed me to keep dancing consistently! This team has given me some of my greatest memories and lessons that I will hold onto for the rest of my life! Love you pommies 💙
After graduation I will be spending the summer in Wichita working at Music Theater Wichita as a performer and then I will be moving to New York City to pursue a career in Musical Theatre and Dance!
There’s two days left to give one final push for OCU Giving and supporting competitive dance! We’re 39 supporters away from hitting our goal! We’d love your support 💙🌟
Our first Senior recognition goes out to Madison also known as Panda. Here’s what she has to say about her time here.
Being on this team has been the most special part of my college years. Coming into college not knowing anyone was scary, but this team was my immediate family. It’s so amazing to see how we all come from different places and backgrounds, but all join together and work towards the same goal. Getting to continue dancing while also pursuing my education was such a blessing, and winning a national championship four years in a row was just the cherry on top! I am immensely grateful for my time on this team and will cherish the friendships, memories, and lessons I’ve learned forever.
After graduation, I will be starting graduate school at the University of Oklahoma College of Allied Health to pursue my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy! I can’t wait to see what the next three years has to offer!
