Last week, members of the Orange County Police K-9 Association completed a two-day Tactical Canine Casualty Care (TCCC) training, ensuring handlers are prepared to provide life-saving emergency medical care to their K-9 partners in the field. This critical training would not have been possible without the generous support of the Spirit of Blue Foundation. Their continued commitment to officer and K-9 safety directly helps protect those who serve our communities every day.
Today, the Canine Unit proudly presented former K-9 Handler Officer Ashbaugh with a shadow box as a small token of our appreciation for his years of dedicated service. Thank you for your commitment, leadership, and lasting impact on our K-9 Unit.
