A huge shout out to our crew members, lead technicians, licenses, hazmat drivers, in house memb tug /barge companies, and our clients and sponsors for a great 4th of July weekend. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication; it was a blast--figuratively and literally! 💣
As we approach the holiday weekend and the start of firework season, we want to remind everyone that safety comes first! Even in your own backyard.
💣 make sure the fireworks you are using are consumer grade only. These have the cool wrapping paper on them!
💣 keep a hose or bucket of water on standby, just in case. Even professionals keep water on standby!
💣 soak all fireworks once they have gone off and had a 10 minute cool down period. Never put any part of your body over the firework.
💣 do not handle malfunctioning fireworks. We call these duds; sometimes the fuse will light, and they won't go off. Wait 10 minutes then soak in water.
💣 keep pets and small children away from fireworks. Watch small children with sparklers.
💣 always use the mount or stand the manufacturer sent with the product. Never hold a firework in your hands while lit.
💣 never throw or point fireworks at another person or pet. This includes sparklers; respect the other person's space when using sparklers.
💣 light the fuse and back away to a safe spot. Or as we say "light fuse and run!"
