Wow, I am honestly lost for words, and it still hasn’t really sunk in yet, but there you go, so beyond grateful to have had the chance to compete in a
@wsl CS event at my hometown. It was absolutely amazing being able to put the rashie on and compete against some big names in front of my family and friends.
Felt pretty crazy being amongst all of it. Definitely a level of competition I am not used to. I went into the event with absolutely no expectations, my focus was to just show my surfing on a bigger stage and leave absolutely nothing on the plate. Felt so insane to get the ball rolling and make a couple heats.
I also got to experience behind the scenes of all the emotions that come with qualification. I was lucky enough to share a very special heat with
@itsjust_morgan , the heat that got him his spot onto the 2026
@wsl CT.
Definitely an event that made me truely realise how magical the competition side of surfing is, and to have been apart of it was something I’ll never forget.
Thank you to everyone who made it happen and a massive thank you to all my friends, family and community for all the support, having you all on the beach, the constant calls and messages, nothing more special than doing what I love in my hometown.
Bring on the journey!! 💜
