Really good hands and feet from Seville in all kinds of ways
And Songs for new girl bands that the industry havenāt planted yet
Non-emergency exit
Liberate yourself from mess and stress
Junk the room like itās your own damn tomb
They say I canāt take it with me
Just watch me try
Stay exactly the same
Canāt find the time to change
Cant find it now the bed is made
Carry your feet up the next mornings stairs
Making sense of Big Time in their own damn mind
Speaking now on behalf of all stuff
Non verbal non stop
Pile it up with grinning at the phone
Eyeball the slow moving truck
Frame bagged theyāre going to get it
Tomorrow lighter with each damn reason
Who knew could be easy
Just to watch it bare hand archived
For something outside of physical media
Wonāt remember the envelope
Wonāt remember that language again
been all over tbh have lots to say about communism irl but hereās some stuff Iām thinking about today after watching Alien and researching for some new work
- a pheromone fragrance that says it will bag u a chick
- this red crystal necklace I keep being targeted for, claims it will get you the man of your dreams like itās some kind of cursed amulet
- this sugar man 3 track
- this pic of Fassbender
- this ad that makes you think you can drink a magic potion and be thin
- this coat JLo wears in that music video
- mum coming round and setting the garden up like this
- this clip from the Vince McMahon documentary
## no returns
Itās worse to be fat than to be drunk
Falling up your stairs with a glee
Stare at the open access end of the bed
State the obvious and think about
How easy it is to make the truth
The salt in my system enough to
keep the tropical fish in the terrace tank
alive
Infinitely more interesting to be alive
today
A Lease of life for a life on lease
Shared ownership of what
Which brick is yours and theirs
Keep smiling
in the queue at the bank
Made up money with feelings
Deep background is everything else
I eat my way back from work
to Your street and donāt stop
there
Camp out inside the house
Remember me like this here
Itās better to be fat and to be drunk
I make rounds of tea and toast at each reality crashing interval
As if in my own interest I am in the Beatles documentary
I am Paul of course and wearing the orange mohair jumper that costs less than a Harry Styles ticket
Drying myhair in someones teenage sons room for the last time
Paper towel and paper dress for the best character that feels right today
Glad to be back in my head Mr Ben-ing thoughts for tomorrows made-up
HOOKED on -
- Zofia Rydet show at @thephotographersgallery
- this pic I saw in the photobooth exhibition that looks exactly like mum

#####Fever seasoning
My rat family
And my silver gelatine one
Itās a big night to be here
A big problem to eat
The air is coming in from the factory
Sweet hot honest air
Sleeping sat up on a Friday,
palm your stomach and face
An egg, A-miracle
Your hair down there, Iām-possible
Everything is romantic when ya in here
Even when my head is hot water bottled
A surface so centigrade, ready
rendered fit to love, scramble or fry
Fever seasoned, grinning
Peppercorns in the spokes
SMILE | LeftCoast x Morag Myerscough x Tatty Devine
The styling for the SMILE piece, modelled by local resident, Katherine Platt, is inspired by joy and abundance born from communal action and sharing. It celebrates the warmth and positivity that come from people coming together - finding happiness in generosity, collective spirit, and the simple pleasures of giving and receiving. SMILE embodies the idea that shared abundance creates not just sustenance, but connection and joy.
Katherine said: āIt was so much fun. I was very nervous coming into it thinking, āOh God, what am I going to have to do, what are they going do to me?ā But everyone put me at ease straight away. And the clothes, the hair, the makeup, oh, it's just stunning, and I've loved every second. For a long time, I've not liked wearing different clothes because my body's changed as I've aged, after I've been ill, and so I don't know what suits me anymore, but this has pushed me to experiment again.ā

HOPE | LeftCoast x Morag Myerscough x Tatty Devine
The styling for the HOPE piece, modelled by local resident, Lizza Lane, is inspired by community gardening, drawing on the optimism of nurturing life from seed. It reflects the collective act of tending, growing, and sharing.
This piece embodies hope as both a personal gesture and a communal force, symbolising resilience, renewal, and the belief that new possibilities can always take root.
Lizza never thought she would be in a fashion shoot at The Grange in Grange Park, peeping out behind sweet peas, and sitting in a wheelbarrow wearing a cricket jumper.
She said: āThe whole experience actually made me feel like a star from get go. My hair and makeup by Cassie looked incredible, and filled me with confidence from the outset. Ocean and Charlotte made me feel so comfortable throughout. I found it easy to follow instruction from them, and most of all they made it so much fun. I didn't stop laughing until the very end!ā

DREAM | LeftCoast x Morag Myerscough x Tatty Devine
The styling for the DREAM piece, modelled by local resident, Brenden Wilkinson, draws on the theme of the urban explorer. Itās inspired by the idea of looking at a familiar place with fresh eyes and imagining new possibilities - daring to dream of what this place could become, and asking: what might emerge?
Brenden was photographed at @bplrevoelution and our award-winning temporary Public Square in Revoe on an incredibly wet day ā but the weather didnāt dampen his spirits.
He said: āI was a bit apprehensive at first, but the experience has been wonderful. My favourite outfit was āAll About the Donkeysā ā especially the dream necklace, I just loved the colours. The whole shoot made me feel excited and grateful. Giving back has never been so much fun.ā

FREEDOM | LeftCoast x Morag Myerscough x Tatty Devine
The styling of the FREEDOM piece (modelled by local resident, Maggie Gregson at The Peopleās Pantry in Hawes Side) takes inspiration from the Grow Your Own movement, with its emphasis on creating abundance and freedom for yourself and your community. It explores freedom both personal and collective, through a lens of retrofuturism - imagining the future of food, growing, and sharing rooted in how things once were.
A long-time volunteer for LeftCoast and the creative force behind our One Pot Wonders cookbook project, Maggie brought her warmth and openness to the photoshoot. Stepping in front of the camera was a new experience for her, but one she embraced.
She said: āToday has given me some more confidence. It was out of my comfort zone, yeah, but the girls made me feel relaxed. I like the red nail polish, the red lipstick ā itās something I don't do, so I'm thinking, āyeah, I like that.ā I feel confident and just great about myself. It's done me good.ā

Thinking about whether truth about our environment or selves is something absolute or something we inherit/ reject inheriting
And about how pigeons recognise themselves in the mirror
And how in Sweden they have created street machines that birds can deposit litter into and get bird seed as a reward
###
Someone elseās dream or someoneās elseās feet
The town speaks to itself
Through the ideas weāre told to be true
Is anything inherent
or total inheritance
Original thought as dangerous as
a borrowed rib
The grub on your trainers
The urbanisation of pigeons
Can we too recognise ourselves
in reflective surfaces
Can we find the language to be wrong
together until the router has only one password
Feet are bound with hair
as laces are tied together
Iām working from home so
yeah no need for these feet
Let the crows pick up the phone
and the nubs off the street
