Being willing doesn’t mean you love feeling anxious, but it means you’re making room for uncomfortable feelings in your life. Being willing to feel uncomfortable means you’re going to avoid less, allowing you to experience more.

You can draw up lists and find articles that support your concerns. You can probably create really compelling arguments. But if you pull back you can see that the issue isn’t about ‘evidence’, it’s about possible vs probable. Probable is based on information you have in the present moment that says you should be worried. But OCD and anxiety reasoning likes to pretend everything is probable and imminent even when present moment data disagrees.
