COMCAST RISE TO AWARD 100 SMALL BUSINESSES IN PHILA�DELPHIA WITH GRANTS
Beginning on June 1 and ending on June 30, eligible businesses in Philadelphia can apply for a grant package at castRISE.com. A total of 100 grants will be announced in August and awarded in September 2023. Grant packages will include:
CONSULTATION: Assessment of business and tactical planning; business-to-business coaching; and mentorship to advise on how to grow business.
EDUCATION RESOURCES: Educational content and resources tailored to individual companies based on where they are in their business lifecycle.
MONETARY GRANT: $5,000 monetary grant to invest in growth and sustainability.
CREATIVE PRODUCTION & MEDIA: Turnkey production of a 30-second TV commercial, plus a media strategy consultation and 180-day media placement schedule.
TECHNOLOGY MAKEOVER: Computer equipment and Internet, Voice, and Cybersecurity services for 12 months. (Taxes and other fees may still apply for tech makeover services.)
Comcast RISE is part of Project UP, the company’s comprehensive initiative to advance digital equity and help build a future of unlimited possibilities.

Staff Party Re-Cap!
On December 16, 2025, we hosted our annual Holiday Staff Party, and it was such a joy to see everyone come together to celebrate the season. Staff enjoyed great food, lots of laughter, fun games, and plenty of holiday cheer. Each team member also left with a gift card and some new OCCCDA swag as a small token of appreciation. It was truly a wonderful time, and we look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come. We are incredibly grateful for our staff’s hard work and dedication to serving the Oxford Circle community!
OCCCDA was recently honored to welcome State Representative Anthony Bellmon to our Food Distribution. His visit to the front lines offered a firsthand look at the challenges and insecurities our community faces. We appreciate his support and commitment to understanding the needs of those we serve.
Our ED/FD team proudly installed new Big Bellies in front of a jewelry store on Castor Avenue alongside Representative Jared Solomon. These installations continue our efforts to expand access and visibility for community support initiatives!
