There’s nothing more intentional than the choices we make in life. It creates the heaven or hell you live through for that season after your choice. It’s been a year, and been a journey filled with challenging decisions made. Accepting the decisions I’ve made comes with consequences and I accept that. Learning to be more accountable for the decisions I make allow me to better see myself in the light I desire to step into more for myself. I charge you to join me in taking the intentional steps towards our intended goals in life and let’s build together. This world only moves forward because we move forward together, thank you to those who continue to build with me as I build with them, and I look forward to those who I will be building with in the future towards making a stronger future.

Just a bunch of kids who imagined being grown ups and are figuring out that they made their dream a reality. I cherish the times I can never take back or recreate, with the people I pray I can enjoy them with. I celebrate the family built, bonds forged, and memories told and lived.

Seeing the flags of the West Indies brought a tear to my eyes. On the world stage those who say we don’t belong here had 2 options, turn your television off and complain, or watch and allow space for the world that also makes up this country to hold the stage.
Still digesting and discerning the Easter eggs, hidden messages, and alliterations of the performance, but even the surface level work spoke volumes.
Despite my home team, the NE Patriots, not winning this year, the Imigrant community that makes up this country got a win in the form or representation. The often over looked, unless you want to vacation on our island, community were given the front and center opportunity and did not disappoint.
Even if you didn’t understand the words, you could pick up on the visual messaging. A reminder that America it’s more than those that claim immigrants need to go back to their home country because, this is our country as well.
Salute to recognition, space being held, and opportunities for visibility to take place.
In lieu of all that’s going on with the state of Imigrant affairs in the country, I hope that there is some invigoration and hope for a more tolerant future that’s not as ethnocentric and decisive.
