Honoured to have collaborated on the book design for
@rubyyrosier ’s final year show. ‘Your Honour’ is a project that emerged out of her experience serving as a juror, seeking to untangle the duality of her experience- passive yet burdened with responsibility.
Alongside the themes of her experience in and around the court room, she explored the ways in which 2D woven fabrics could be engineered to construct off-loom into 3D forms. She developed a series of no-cut no-sew bags aimed at the luxury fashion accessories market.
The book’s design mimics the folder she used throughout her experience as a juror, with coloured dividers distinguishing each section of the book.
