Her work is inspired by the Nahuatl philosophy of Atlachinolli — the balance of opposites through fire and water, strength and softness, tradition and creation.

A few months ago, we stepped inside the Vancouver studio of ceramic artist @nathalee_paolinelli . Guided by intuition, patience, and quiet imperfection, her handmade sculptural pieces celebrate the beauty of organic form and Canadian craftsmanship.
Layered textures and fluid shapes bring a sense of warmth and individuality to every piece, each one shaped slowly and entirely by hand.

Minimal and elegant, these wall hangings are created using raw cotton threads and fiber from the sansevieria plant woven in alternating colours.
Handmade by weavers in Querétaro, Mexico, this collective of female artisans began with a mission to preserve knowledge about ancient textile techniques while caring for and respecting the environment.
