For my final major project, I designed a digital advertisement concept for a designer brand such as Dior, revolving around 3D art and 3D printing. As we are moving towards a digital world where digital art is valued less than traditional, it is important to embrace the qualities of both mediums. Embracing both digital and traditional is beneficial for diversity or artistic expression and acknowledges the importance of appreciating the unique qualities found within both mediums. The Main question I wanted to answer is ‘how can digital art maintain relevance within traditional contexts?’ Drawing inspirations from previous collaborations with artists and fashion labels like Dior and their “Lady Dior” partnership between luxury fashion house Dior and various artists from different disciplines.
