Love Is Kind EP with @thechainsmokers is finally out today 😭❤️🔥 created with my faves @havsun@axelindroth@madssongve & @fred_well 🥲 I’m ending the week with a full heart after a few beautiful days in the mountains of Norway 🏔️ feeling really grateful that I get to create music with such beautiful people while seeing some of the most beautiful parts of the world at the same time. 🫀
OUR NEW EP “LOVE IS KIND” featuring @oaks is OUT May 8th!!!!! A few months ago we made Echo, then we made another song, and another and another. I can’t remember the last time we had a creative flow like this. Tbh this followed a period of feeling really stuck in the studio. Maybe we had too many ideas about what 2026 could sound like for us. The year started with a 2016 trend popping off and it’s crazy to see Roses and Closer and Paris etc connect with a new generation. It almost feels like they are loved even more then when they came out. Thanks for that. But also that left us in a weird place creatively. It made us think a lot about the magic in that era and what was making people connect with it again. We are still working on the answer to that question and I think we are getting close. Making this EP helped a lot. Winona fell in love since we had last saw her that has fueled the story behind all these songs. We wanted to keep that story (and her mesmerizing voice) in the center of this project and build a world around it with the production. Our only criteria was to make sure it would be extremely fun to play in our set. It was therapeutic to work within those self inflicted parameters. The result has been beautiful. We love you Winona and we can’t wait for you all to hear these records! ‘ALREADY KNOW’ is out this Friday!!!!
“Echo” was born in the most magical environment in Norway with some of my favorite people and co-writers @havsun@axelindroth@madssongve@fred_well ❤️ Hearing @thechainsmokers production for the first time was incredible - they truly elevated it to another level. 🙂↔️ It feels beautiful and full circle working with them again after our collaboration eight years ago on “Hope.” This song captures that overwhelming moment of falling - when everything feels electric and there’s no way to escape the feeling no matter how hard you try. Being part of this song means a lot to me, it’s one of those rare records that just feels truly special. ❤️🩹⚔️
