On the last job we had a customer stop by and wanted to know if I could cut in a little dirtbike track for their 6 yr old! They lucked out when they happened to get a moto family contractor! They were sooo happy with what I was able to do in the little space they had! The boy loved it and now we have a couple new @jessemx67 fans! @jackoak67@oakleygeneralengineering
This week was a fun one! Originally was gonna install a French drain to keep the garage from flooding and then I realized the whole grade was way too high! The previous homeowner just kept adding road base over the years, so we corrected the issue and ended up with about 10yrs of extra road base which helped to build a nice mini arena/large round pen for the customer to work her horses!!! @oakleygeneralengineering
This weeks project came out amazing! A little more than 5,000 sq ft of asphalt micro grindings! Another steep driveway, it will be getting a special mix slurry coat next! Had quite the day when we were rolling it! Ended up having the roller break, luckily mark didn’t go down the mountain😮 we got it out and Elite Rentals took care of us and brought us a new roller! This weeks driveway came out beautiful! Customers needed a driveway into their backyard tuned up and a ditch put in to prevent water from going into the back of their house! First time running the kubota with the grading box and tilt tach for grindings and it was amazing! Did a last minute road fix for @b.ray_388 his driveway looked pretty turfed and he wanted to make sure everyone could make it up the hill for their baby shower! I was able to smooth things out for them and fix the canyon running thru the center before I blew a hydraulic line on my tilt tach😩 i always wanna take care of our moto fam! @oakleygeneralengineering@jackoak67
Easy week! One of my customers called and said they bought there neighbors property that had a Marijuana farm on it, the county had hit them with a bunch of grading violations because they cut all these terraces in and left massive cut banks, so I got to do a little cleanup and cut in a acceptable slope. @oakleygeneralengineering
This weeks fun lil project, last winter I was called out because my customers garage was flooding, there was a few things leading to this, but we diverted the water back into the proper swale, added a new swale/french drain, and waterproofed the garage wall where the issues were just to make sure we eliminated all the possible problems in the future, I also did a little grade correction in front of the garage and got a little more fall out of the driveway, i even got to build them a little shooting backstop while I had the equipment there! @oakleygeneralengineering #drainage #grading
