Found out we were picked by @berlingske as one of the TOP 10 exhibitions of 2025, inside and outside Denmark. We are alongside such amazing exhibits also picked like @kaariupson at @louisianamuseum and David Hockney (foundation Louis Vuitton @fondationlv )!!!!! Totally feeling CASUAL about this. Extraordinary Thank-you’s to Siri Buric head curator @thorvaldsensmuseum for trusting us so totally and seeing our vision. As well as @clarastruve and @emma_mdml for helping us put together the nuts and bolts of the exhibit and doing wild stuff with ladders, and early mornings. Also wild thanks to Alex Christoffer Rasmussen who worked miracles with all the projectors . ✨Happy New Year

Screensavers For The End Of Time Sep 12, 2025 on @objktcom Screensavers for the End of Time confronts the aesthetics of calm, distraction, and pseudo-utility that define the interface of the techno-capitalist society. In this exhibition, digital art becomes a mirror held up not to reality, but to its carefully curated simulation. Through generative simulations of nature, glitch-calming UIs, and auto-playing visualizations that lull rather than confront, this genre of art serves a double function: to soothe and to suppress. It masks the crisis beneath a polished reflective mirror and offers an anesthetic rather than a resisting aesthetic experience. Within this paradigm, “digital nature” emerges as a bold theme. It’s an increasingly commodified art practice in which code mimics the organic to create a hyperreal connection to a nature we are alienated from. By generating trees, fog, waterfalls, and birdsong via procedural algorithms, these works project a false utopia of connection and eco-consciousness, while users remain within feedback loops of consumption and disembodiment. Screensavers for the End of Time confronts the aesthetics of calm, distraction, and pseudo-utility that define the interface of the techno-capitalist society. In this exhibition, digital art becomes a mirror held up not to reality, but to its carefully curated simulation. We invited works that critically inhabit or subvert these aesthetics, ambient systems that collapse, UI metaphors turned inside-out, or generative nature that glitches under stress, to expose the anxiety, dissonance, and entropy beneath the smooth surface of the screen. Rather than celebrating seamlessness, we are interested in the fractures within mediated tranquility, and in digital works that reflect the tension between collective unease and corporate spectacle. By doing so, this exhibition aims to uncover how digital art becomes a screen between us and the world in crisis. Music by @o_future_ Artists: OFuture @o_future_ Eric R.
