meet Omar Taleb (@o.martaleb ), one of the writers behind the Cult Issue. 🌟
we first met him earlier in the year and were blown away by his short story pitch for “Don’t Feed the Publicists.” Omar’s story blends fact and fiction, going into the hive-mind world of PR agency life.
Omar’s narrator is both a willing participant and a spectator in this world, hopping from media party to media party with only an email thread to prove he belongs. imagine if Princess Caroline was queer, vaguely sociopathic and only slightly worried about losing her job.
beyond Lore, Omar is an Associate Producer at the CBC. he’s a star. ❤
