Issen has received the Best Action Sequence Award at the Third Culture Film Festival!
I’m truly grateful that this film, which originally started as something for my grandfather, has come this far and received such recognition.
The festival itself was also an amazing experience. I had the chance to watch many high-level films and artworks, and connect with passionate creatives and organisers. The atmosphere was incredibly inspiring, and I would love to return again.
(Needless to say, Tauranga is a beautiful place as well.)

P.S. Our end credits ended up being much longer than those of other films—even though ours is just a short—so it was a bit funny 😅
But many people said they found it heartfelt, so I might just keep this style going XD

元は祖父の為に作り始めた本作が、この様な賞を授かるに至り、本当に嬉しく思います。
映画祭自体、素晴らしい経験でした。多くの高レベルな作品を観て、アーティスト達と出会い、情熱あふれる主催者の方々と話す事ができました。
とてもクリエイティブで刺激的な空間で、また是非伺いたいです。

我々のエンディングクレジットが他の映画よりもかなり長くて笑ってしまったのですが、多くの方がなかなかに誠意を感じられたと言ってくれたので、この方針で今後も行こうかと思います笑
