Not all trophy-snatching show cars are built with filling up the pool room in mind. Some are built to be driven, and crafted simply to the owners taste and skillset.
When they turn up to one of the most storied classic car exhibitions on Kiwi shores, you can be certain it’s something special. This 1973 Datsun 1200 coupe is one such car - an accidental prize pony crafted with vision and good old fashioned grind.
