Just a teaser for the finished cut of my final major project! I will be posting the finished product soon so stay tuned!
This project was an amazing oppurtunity to explore my creativity while still conforming to a set brief, I had so much fun ideating, planning, writing and directing this music video.
Thank you so much to the amazing and talented @aaliyahs.costumes for being my 1st AD on day one and @ruessilllycameraroll for 1st ADing and BTS on day two, thank you @jb._prod for gaffing and thank you so so much to the brilliant, fantastic @eulalee3_ for starring in my fmp.
Although I admit the project is still a tad rough around the edges I look forward to improving for the fyture and also think it important to note my proggress from my FMP last year was astonishing, I am so proud of myself and everyone around me and I hope you all enjoy the finished product!!
BTS on my Final Major Project shoot!
For my FMP I am making a music video for the brief 'Media is abstract'. Fir this project I was asked to ideate, research, plan, shoot and edit my own mv/short film/podcast and i chose music video!!!
I wanted a heavy focus on non-naturalistic lighting and how I could make it elevate the song I chose. I chose the song 'Spookie Coochie' by @doechii as her song and music in general inspires me by not conforming to mainstream standards and stereotypes. This project has been amazingly fun to shoot and edit as I had complete creative control and I look forward to doing more lighting heavy and abstract projects like this in the future!
