Most high achievers are trying to solve the wrong problem! Not just leaders. Founders. Entrepreneurs carrying vision and responsibility at the same time. From the outside, the results are there. Career growth. Recognition. Opportunities many people work years to reach. Yet something still feels unsettled. Pressure does not disappear. Rest becomes difficult. Success never fully lands. This is often interpreted as a mindset issue. But another possibility is emerging. I was recently featured in the fabulous @nyweekly magazine, exploring a pattern many high performers quietly experience: Why high achievers don’t always feel successful. Research in epigenetics shows that stress responses can pass across generations. Experiences such as survival pressure, instability, or uncertainty can shape how the nervous system responds to responsibility and achievement. What looks like personal pressure may actually be inherited conditioning. Many capable people spend years trying to solve this with productivity systems, strategy, or mindset work.
