Christopher Chan (b. 1983, Toronto, ON) is an artist based in Brooklyn, New York. He has exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, Goodwin-Ternbach Museum, 80WSE, Daniella Elbahara (Mexico City), Mankovsky Gallery (Sweden), NADA New York, Spring Break, Chicago International Film Festival and the United Center (Chicago). His work has also been previously commissioned by clients Nike, Gucci, Netflix, Meta, Amazon & more. Today is Museums Advocacy Day. 🏛️✨ To honor the impact of museums and the vital work they do for our communities, we are highlighting our very own @80WSE Gallery and the visionary leadership behind it. Following our recent reception to celebrate a landmark year, we are still beaming with pride! We are thrilled to celebrate that 80WSE’s “Legacies: Asian American Art Movements in New York City (1969-2001)” has received the @artnews Award for Best Thematic Museum Exhibition of 2025. 🏆 A huge shoutout goes to 80WSE Curator Howie Chen, whose transformative work has redefined what a university gallery can achieve.
