Cuba’s Disaster & Educational Mission 🇨🇺🤍
These moments capture our NYRN team meeting, for the first time, the children who will now have the opportunity to undergo life-changing surgeries. While respecting the privacy of the children and families involved, we were able to witness firsthand the impact that critical medical supplies, medications, and humanitarian support can make.
Because of the supplies and donations brought to Cuba, 12 children now have renewed hope for the care and surgeries they urgently need. We are deeply grateful to AFYA and Not Just Tourists for supporting this mission through their generous donations of medical supplies that helped make this possible.
A powerful reminder that compassion, solidarity, and healthcare can truly change lives beyond borders.

Mission accomplished…finished my 8th medical mission. A team of 4 Nurse Practitioners traveled to Guatemala, spent hours going up rugged roads, and delivered free medical care to rural communities, serving 226 patients over two days.
Only mission I’ve been on that I had to perform my own vital signs and it’s been a while since I did a manual blood pressure! lol
The people and the local staff were so kind and generous! I can’t wait to return to work with them again.

Update: Our Cuba mission has now become a disaster relief and educational mission. From April 8–12, the team at the New York Relief Network will travel to Cuba to provide critical medical support and hands-on educational experience for healthcare volunteers. Due to the current situation, hospitals and clinics are facing severe shortages of essential medical supplies. Our team has already gathered the medications and supplies needed to help. Now we just need the funds to get them there. Your support will help cover the transportation and logistics required to deliver these critical supplies directly to healthcare providers and patients in need.
