I will record it someday, and would like to thank people for asking for it - it means a lot to hear. But rn my thesis and looking after ppl and myself takes precedent 💖💖💖 Pacing oneself can be hard. stay tuned for some science posting and music posting in the future and eventually I will be back having a social life. Twisted soon! Catch me at the Dojo Stage (coolest most slept on stage), in the early a.m. hours on the 2nd of January. I will be playing some favourites I've been saving for years just to load up. Think heavy doses of electro, techno and psytrance, laced with the voices of the familiar baile funk MCs which have echoed their way across the globe's nightclubs into the mainstream during 2025.

RA MIX 058: Nymphloads - Journey Thru Tha Nebula
In this mix, Nymphloads (@nymph.loads ) explores a suite of their favourite vapor- and sci-fi-inspired footwork joints, mixing them with tracks from local footmahi experts and legends of the genre. The result is a journey through a galaxy of wormholes, cute death robots, trans-dimensional beings and strange purple planets. The mix heavily features Acetantina and Young Smoke, who approach the sound from a uniquely whimsical and imaginative place.
NymphLoads is a Pōneke-based DJ, scientist, and founding member of local collective @sigil.sound . They’re known for their wide spectrum of music they play, and oftentimes their love for chaos and calamity. From amapiano alongside Sister Zo, to brazilian hardstyle with the Warpath crew, U never know what the nymph will load next.

this year @twistedfrequencyfestival i was in a constant state of awe at the talent we have in our local music scene. from bands to MCs to DJs, to builders, VJs and laser art. everyone brought their absolute heavenly best to the paddock. what an epic group of people to know and even befriend. Speechless. Aotearoa music so elite.

this year i return to the lab and hopefully finish my PhD. Once that's done I wanna follow my inspiration and revel in the beauty of sonic creation and curation, fully involving myself without the pressures I am set to be under. Until that day u may catch the occasional set at whoknowswhere, but I need to lock in and get embryological before I delve any further. Love you all. the road to success is simple. first, the @wgtncc keeps fining you for parking near where you do embryological research every day, without fail, without weekends, while making less than minimum wage. then, you start contributing your piece to its famed underground music scene so you can make ends meet and continue to perpetually exhaust yourself into oblivion. And the glamorous cycle of success repeats. A win-win for everyone! I love economics :) Stay successful guys.
