She is a mom, facilitator, and performer. Nyla has also lent her voice to the cartoons Raven Tales: The Movie (APTN) and Molly of Denali (PBS). Drawing on her experience as someone of mixed heritage, her goal is to blend the past, present and create new works for the future.

Had a great time last week teaching at the VSB Indigenous focus pro-d day. I taught my Powwow 101 workshop, where I share the stories I was taught about the different dance styles, some basic dance moves and my regalia
I started facilitating powwow workshops/classes at least 15 years ago. And I’m still learning!
I’m working on a few different types of powwow dance workshops, some are show & tell where some are dance focused and by tailored for all ages.
I like teaching, keeps me in shape too!

Last Class of Powwow Bootcamp happened on April 6th, which was Easter Monday.
It was a fun series! I’ve been running this series since 2011 and it felt real good to do a dance work out.
So let me know in the comments when time are next series should be?
On a Saturday or on Weekday evening?
