The Friend of a Friend x @nyctrashday bucket hats is finally available for preorder online (link in bio)! These bucket hats are MADE BY HAND with recycled fabric, so quantity is extremely limited. We worked really hard with our homegirl Gloria from NYC Trash Day to make the perfect bucket hat, and I really think we did it 🥹

We originally conceptualized this collection while I was fighting cancer— we were away from home (New York) for a long time, bummed out, lost, and feeling super out of place.
We kept ditching it and coming back, but we never released anything because we couldn’t figure out how to tell this story without getting sad.
After some more healing, we made new art that stayed true to our feelings, and it was NOT sad, but reflective!
This collection is about my feelings on what came after… This is about enjoying the chaos that is life, feeling small while also feeling closer and more connected, staying in motion, staying hopeful and optimistic, and embracing surviving, living, being alive and being here and being present on this journey ❤️
