After visiting the 88 temples of Shikoku, I ended my pilgrimage at Mount Kōya to visit the place where Kobo Daishi is said to be eternally meditating. On my way to the temple, I saw this monk on his way as well. I didn’t want to disturb him, so I just sneakily took a picture 🤫
