New York art week. Back at @ny_studioschool for the MFA Thesis Exhibition 2026. I sat on a sculpture sofa made from painted paper.Only at New York Studio School. The thesis exhibitions always stay with me.Two years of work taking over the building — paintings, installations, questions, risk, ideas still forming. Especially meaningful to see this first thesis exhibition under the school’s new executive director, Matthew Ritchie. If you are in New York for Frieze Week, this is a beautiful place to stop.
