NEW! Foresight Transformation Missions ✨
The NGFP Fellowship supports emerging practitioners using futures and foresight to work on long-term, systems-level challenges.
For 2027, we’re introducing two new Foresight Transformation Missions:
🩺 Health Futures
Exploring how health systems are being reshaped by digital transformation, climate pressures, demographic change, and inequality and what more equitable and resilient futures for health could look like.
🌱 Rural Futures
Focusing on how rural communities navigate climate change, shifting livelihoods, and infrastructure gaps, while centring local knowledge, resilience, and community agency.
Across the NGFP network, Fellows are already exploring these themes in practice, from Candela Martinez’s work co-creating climate resilience tools for rural communities in Spain, to Nojus Saad and team’s youth-led storytelling initiative on equitable AI futures for healthcare across the Global South.
These join our wider Mission areas including Climate & Just Transitions, Democracy & Sustainable Development, Emerging Technologies, Intergenerational Fairness, Peace & Security, and more.
