🚿 Shower Before You Swim!
Shower in warm water for at least 1 minute before entering the pool to remove sweat, dirt, deodorant and perfumes from your skin.
Why does it matter?
When those contaminants enter the water, chlorine works harder to break them down — creating chloramines, which cause that strong “pool smell.”
Help keep our pool cleaner, fresher and more comfortable for everyone!

7:00 am — Everyone in the waiting room is randomly assigned a place in line (Joining after 7 am? You'll be added in the order you arrive)

🎨 NVRC Artist-in-Residence Mariana Frochtengarten's (@nanafro & @flow.shibori ) Shibori Fabric Dyeing workshop was a hit! Participants explored making patterns with dye — using folding, wrapping and tying methods — transforming cloth into vibrant, textured designs.
🧶 Join Mariana this Saturday, May 9, 10-11:30am at Parkgate Community Centre to learn the art of circular weaving. Participants will use recycled CDs as looms! Click on the link in our bio to register.
