Reflecting on OTHERSELVES, Noon Passama

Drawing on the calendrical theme of Noon Passama’s work, the scenography for OTHERSELVES embeds the periodicity of the Chinese horoscope within the hexagonal atrium. Aluminium pedestals follow the rhythm of the columns, while playful glass bubbles invite discovery of the works from multiple angles. The mirrored surfaces and illustrations transform the space into a kaleidoscopic room, reflecting and warping visitors’ movements and creating a field of interaction between oneself, other beings, and the surrounding architecture.
The solo exhibition “OTHERSELVES” by Noon Passama, in collaboration with Suthipa Kamyam and Detelina Ivanova, runs from 1 November 2025 to 1 February 2026 and is organised in collaboration with Museum Arnhem for the Françoise van den Bosch Award 2024.
