Finally got to see the cao fei exhibit at the art gallery of nsw!
During the opening I got the honour of dancing not once but twice to help promote the exhibit. Sadly I don’t have many vids of me dancing but this was very special to me, and I was honoured to share this moment with my fellow dancers/ community members both during the promotions and those that were apart of the exhibit. I went to the gallery tonnes growing up (artist parents things) and so to work with the gallery to exhibit my own art (my dance) felt very surreal.
I also highly recommend the exhibit! There’s not long left but it was a fantastic exploration of culture/counter cultures in the cities we live in.
